Gain School Experience

Thinking of Teaching, but need some school experience?

Gaining classroom experience before starting your initial teacher training (ITT) can help you be sure that a career in teaching is right for you. It can also support your application for ITT by spending some time in a classroom and speaking to experienced teachers and school staff. 

If you are applying for our ITT programme we can offer School Experience.  We offer this across a wide range of subject areas.  The school experience day will involve:

• Meeting the ITT Team
• Tour of the School
• Observation of lessons in your chosen area
• Meet current trainees (when available)
• Review and feedback of the day

We initially offer one days experience.  Following this further days can be discussed with us, after attending the initial day.
